It’s like the new growth on an evergreen. New writing voices are emerging. Maybe you’re one of them …
Why is this so important? … Because we need fresh storylines and new quality non-fiction. Writing has always advanced the human condition. To be sure, some have used writing to pull humanity down. But I’m referring to those who have lifted humanity with their writing.
And there’s no doubt that writing has transformed people.
The new growth is what brings development. The old growth is needed to support life and to provide a “foundation” for the new. Yet it is in the new that the development takes place.
What’s needed? Unique life-voices. The key is to emerge.
It takes discipline and courage of offer your work to others. But if you touch their heart, if you inspire them, if you bring new insights and new ways of seeing … you have done your part to lift and to build. You have contributed to the advancement we all need and desire.
What if we write what wants to be written?
